Do not exceed capacity (16,000–24,000 liters).
Keep the vent open during filling – otherwise the tank may burst.
Do not move a filled flexitank.
Do not walk on the flexitank.
Wear soft shoes (shoe covers inside container).
Only trained personnel can install.
Use a standard 20ft dry container (less than 5 years old, valid CSC plate).
Inside must be dry, clean, rust-free, odor-free.
No sharp edges, nails, holes, or damaged wood.
Door locking bars must work.
Sidewalls: Cover with cardboard or polypropylene up to 2/3 height.
Floor: Place a protective sheet (corrugated board, plywood, or foam).
Unfold the flexitank inside the container.
Center it on the floor.
Position the discharge valve toward the doors (handle on top).
The vent must be on the upper side.
Remove folds in the tank skin.
Install the bulkhead (door barrier) as per manufacturer.
Secure straps to container anchoring points.
Close the left-hand door.
Place drip tray / spill protection.
Attach filling hose with a hose support.
Open the vent (degassing system).
Start at 200 L/min until 2,000 liters.
Increase to 500–700 L/min.
Do not pump air into the tank.
Stop when target volume reached (max 95% fill level).
Close valve tightly and put on cap.
Check for leaks and that the tank does not touch the doors.
Attach warning mark (A4 size) to outside of left-hand door saying:
“Keep left hand door shut”
“Container loaded with flexitank, containing liquid cargo”
“No fork-lift”
Open only the right-hand door first.
Left door stays closed until tank is nearly empty.
Use hose support, open valve, drain liquid.
For thick liquids, use a pump.
Remove flexitank after emptying.
Dispose or recycle according to local rules.
