1. Container Inspection and Cleaning
Thoroughly inspect the container's interior walls, floor, and ceiling for any sharp objects, protruding nails, metal filings, or damage.
Clean the container to remove all debris and foreign matter.
2. Protective Lining Installation
Lay corrugated paper or PP lining material on the container floor and against the side walls. This acts as a buffer to protect the flexitank from abrasion.
3. Flexitank Placement
Place the folded flexitank inside the container and unroll it from the far end toward the container doors.
Ensure the valve end is positioned at the door side with the valve facing upward.
Align the marking lines on the bag with the container floor to ensure proper positioning.
4. Securing the Flexitank
Tie the elastic rings and ropes attached to the flexitank securely to the metal rings (D-rings) inside the container. Work from one side, top to bottom, inside to outside, to ensure the bag fits tightly against the container walls.
Use drawstrings to secure the bottom of the bag at the door end to the floor rings, preventing movement during loading.
5. Valve and Door Bulkhead Installation
Install the bottom discharge valve according to the Ocean Blue Whale's instructions, ensuring it is properly positioned and secured.
Install a bulkhead (door barrier) using steel bars fitted into the door recesses and through the loops on the front of the flexitank. This prevents the bag from bulging out when filled.
Install and secure a partition between the two flexitanks, ensuring there is an object between them to act as a buffer.
6. Inflation and Loading Preparation
Lock the left container door.
Use an air compressor to gently inflate the flexitank so it conforms to the container's interior shape.
Affix bulk warning stickers to the container doors.
7. Loading
Connect the filling hose to the flexitank valve.
Begin pumping the liquid product into the bag while monitoring the process to ensure the bag unfolds properly and the valve remains in its natural position.
